i bought n.e.r.d.’s seeing sounds and duffy’s rockferry two days ago. they’re both really good. i was in the mood for something funky and hip hopish and something smooth and soulful. these were both excellent choices. my favorites from seeing sounds are everyone nose, anti matter, windows; and my favorites from rockferry are warwick avenue, syrup & honey, delayed devotion. you should check them out!
some people haven’t heard of n.e.r.d., but who hasn’t heard of the neptunes? n.e.r.d. is like the collection of all the other stuff the neptunes produce that would never make it to the radio. and duffy is like a mash-up of amy winehouse and alicia keys. maybe? sure. she’s wonderful.

yesterday morning we all met in the banquet hall for our first official (will there be more?) actors theatre press conference. key community members, theatre associates, and access louisville were in attendance. very exciting!

August 15, 2008 by shrimpchopstevei need to find myself, but, more importantly, i need to get to know that dude and i need to be comfortable with who that dude is. that’s one of my goals this year.
i really love it here! i’m staying at my dad’s crib upstairs in the master bedroom. we’re about 10-15 minutes from the theater which is right in the heart of downtown just two blocks from the river!
why is vin diesel making another movie?!
they put us right to work without wasting any time. our first three days were stuffed with auditions and callbacks and orientation meetings. we auditioned for a christmas carol, pride and prejudice, and dracula. we… ahh….. i’m sorry… i’m trying to update, really i am, but the daily show is on and i just can’t focus.
in the 21st century, nations don’t invade other nations. you can’t just occupy another sovereign nation’s capital, topple over a few statues, and get away with it.
