i’m not one to get excited about the release of video games (september 7 — tomorrow!), but i just can’t help myself when it comes to spore. you get to create and guide your creature through five stages of evolution, the cell phase, the creature phase, the tribal phase, the civilization phase, and the space phase.

I haven’t bought it yet because of the draconian DMR. Apperently the game only lets you install it three times, after that you basicly have to call up and beg EA to reauthorize your game.
Its essentially become a 50$ rental, just so they can stop the dreaded internet pirates, nevermind the fact that a cracked version was out 5 days before the game release.
The reviews over at amazon have dropped down to 1 and 1/2 stars because of this shit go read some of that for a good laugh.
