today it occurred to me that i might be able to use quicktime to export my videos in a web-friendly format but first i would have to drop $30 on an upgrade to the pro account. i still have graduation money left over, so i thought of it as a gift from my grandma and upgraded. and guess what? now imovie works like you’d expect it to! it’s not the most ideal fix in the world (you can’t share media from imovie? that’s easy, you just have to buy quicktime 7 pro. glad i could help.), but at least it’s a fix.
